All search-result actions must be part of exactly one group, though a simple solution might include just one group. At run time, the result-action controls are created by an Ontolica SharePoint Search Result Web Part, which provides a selector with the actions relevant for each found item. The actions shown can furthermore be limited to include only those from one or more specific groups. You might therefore group your actions to limit the options displayed in some situations. On the Search Result Actions page, action groups are shown in left-justified bold type; the actions belonging to each group are shown in standard type, indented below their group name.
