Ontolica Fusion is preconfigured with an Installation Package named CtrlSync for SharePoint

The first time Ontolica Fusion starts then the user is prompted to select the configuration of choice.
The default configuration is CtrlSync for SharePoint.

Next the user is prompted for username & password and the URL for the Subscription Management Site. When accepted CtrlSync for SharePoint. starts replicating files according to the subscription items in the SharePoint List Subscription that relates to the user.

Corporate Branding, SharePoint URL and optional custom business logic.

When you are ready to deploy your setup to users, you create an Installation Package containing branding, your logo, colours, help links, custom business logic and license information.

Installation Package content.
  • License informationOntolica Fusion Free-Edition supports 3 users/subscriptions. Ontolica Fusion Standard Edition (paid) is unlimited.
  • Corporate Branding – logo, colours etc.
  • Custom Business Logic
  • URL and other connection parameters to the Subscription Management Site.

Download OntolicaFusion.exe /S /v"/qn PACKAGEFILENAME=http://.../My%20Package.xds DMPROFILEACTION=XDS /le MyLog.txt"
UNC specification OntolicaFusion.exe /S /v"/qn PACKAGEFILENAME=\\myServer\myShare\xyz.xds DMPROFILEACTION=XDS /le MyLog.txt"
Local drive OntolicaFusion.exe /S /v"/qn PACKAGEFILENAME=d:\Install\xyz.xds DMPROFILEACTION=XDS /le MyLog.txt"

There is no space in the argument: /v/"qn and that the command line i case sensitive.
Space must be replaced by %20 both in URL and UNC specifications.
The log file is created in the same directory as the installation program.
Important: Any previously installed Package with the same filename is replaced.

Manual configuration with custom Installation Package

Command Line examples
When you run Ontolica Fusion for the first time you are prompted to select how you want to Ontolica Fusion to be configured. Use a URL to download the package or Click browse to select it.
If you want to restore an existing Ontolica Fusion configuration use the ‘Installation>>Restore’ Menu Item in the right click menu on the program Icon in the Windows System Tray.
