Calculate target “Site URL” dynamically for each File or Folder.

Use cases: (They all use the Run Component for each row feature in Data Transport)
  • FileShare upload to SharePoint Site where each top level folder represents a Customer or Project. The Selected files or folders will then end up on a site that is specific for a purpose, like sharing with other team or external partner. FileShare can optionally be kept in sync so that any changes are replicated back, including new documents.
  • Selectively Replicate documents from large SharePoint Libraries to task specific Sites. Source Library can optionally be kept in sync so that any changes are replicated back, including new documents.
URL Calculation: (multiple expressions can be called after one-another.)
  • Use metadata like file name, folder names and date time.
  • Use results from SQL SELECT or CSV file lookup.
  • More than 90 built in functions (Date, Time, String, Numeric, Logical.
Sample of features
  • Source files can originate from FileShare or Document Library.
  • Redirect folders and their sub-folders. Create the source folder path on the target site relative to redirection folder level or flatten the hierarchy.
  • No limit in calculated Site URL count.
  • Target SharePoint Site Library can be selected dynamically for each file or folder.
  • Same file or folder can target multiple sites.
  • Rename files on target site.
  • Incremental options for not overwriting existing unchanged content.
  • Advanced source file selection criteria includes conditions on SharePoint metadata.

  • Run job in Test-mode to analyse redirection rules.
  • Source files can also be used as key to what files to DELETE on the target site. So no copy is performed but the file is deleted on the target if it exists.
